OUR PRIDE -Japan Women’s Footballー

PURPOSE #1 The raison d'etre of Japanese women's football, symbolised by Nadeshiko Japan.

Attraction #1Dedication, resilience,
cheerfulness and courtesy

Across all age categories, Japan's fair play on the pitch, as well as their respectful behaviour and cheerful demeanour off it, have won the hearts of many, and they are warmly welcomed by people at home and abroad. This is due to the spirit of Japanese football, which emphasises fair play and respect, and the values, or in other words, identity, shared by everyone involved with the national team, including the players, national coaching staff and team officials, as well as clubs and coaches across the country.

Attraction #2Pursuit of social value

Like SAMURAI BLUE (Japan National Team), Nadeshiko Japan is a team that symbolises Japanese football and brings hope and courage to the people. The world is full of problems such as conflict, poverty, racism and global warming. While sport cannot solve these problems, it has the power to bring people together across nationalities, races and ethnicities, and we believe it can make a significant contribution to promoting diversity and inclusion by fostering mutual understanding. Through football, the world's most popular sport, JFA aims to create a sustainable and diverse society.
