JFA signs on partnership with Oman

Japan Football Association (JFA) signed on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Oman Football Association (OFA) today, 10 May 2017, prior to the 67th FIFA Congress in Bahrain. This agreement between the two football governing bodies will deepen the mutual relationship and continuous cooperation for further development of football in both Oman and Japan.
In the presence of OFA President, H.E. Sheikh Salim Al Wahaibi, JFA President TASHIMA Kohzo expressed his appreciation of such an important occasion for signing the first MoU between the associations. “I am very honoured by this partnership with Oman Football Association. As we have always enjoyed good relationship, we had international friendly match of “A” National team in Japan last year and our U-16 national team went to Oman for friendly matches. Through football exchanges in many areas, we will surely strengthen our long friendship and cooperation and work together in unity for the development of our beautiful game in both countries.”
The MoU between OFA and JFA agrees on the cooperation with each other in the following areas:

c.Football facilities
d.Study, research, educational courses, seminars and conferences

f.Referees
g.Football management and technical direction
h.Game and player development
