JFA holds joint meetings for juridical organs

The Japan Football Association held juridical organs (disciplinary committee, arbitration committee, protest appeal committe) kickoff meetings.

Beginning on the 1st April, the JFA made large system reformations for the nation's football environments; They lifted the degrees of the independency of the juridical organs while they also applied a two-tirered system. These reforms are big, historical first steps for the JFA to make themselves organization that have the global standards.

As the system reformations were revised on the 15th April, the 13 members of the three committees that form the juridical organs assembled at the JFA House and exchanged their animated discussions on the juridical systems on the Japanese football circles of the future.

Comments

NAKAJIMA Hajime, Chairperson of the disciplinary committee
I had been told that the JFA have a more stable organization and rules among the official sporting organizationsin Japan, and I was impressed that the contents of the discussions were very practical. With the organizational reformations, I got to understand that the roles of these new judidcial organs have so much responsibilities. So I would like to study about the field of the sports disputes, and hope to be a part of the process for the developments of Japanese football.

MOTOBAYASHI Toru,  Chairperson of the arbitration committee
This is a special year of the organizational reformation as the three committees - the disciplinary, arbitration and protest appearl - became independent as the juriducial organs. Now I deeply understand that each and every members on those organs will have to work hard together in order to contribute to the development of Japanese football. Also, I am pleased that I have companies with whom I can exchange discussions as a part of a JFA juridicial organ.

FUSAYAMA Tetsu, Chairperson of the protest appeal committee
I think that it is a very good thing for Japanese football to establish the seperation of the three powers, construct the legitimate systems and create mature societies. The protest appeal committee is an organization that has newly been established, and this is very beneficial, so I would like to work as hard as I can so I will get my job done.

OMORI Masayuki, Member of the protest appeal committee
I think that this is a very significant and responsible role to be a member of a JFA juridicial organ. But I would definitely like to contribute to Japanese football as much as I can. As we have lawyers and members from the Japan Association of Athletic Federations, and as much as we will need their help, I woud like to take advantage of my experience as a former professional football player.
