JFA signs renewed partnership with Deutscher Fussball-Bund

Japan Football Association (JFA) has signed a renewed partnership MoU with Deutscher Fussball-Bund (DFB) on 12 March in Germany. This agreement between both football governing bodies was signed in June 2011 and being renewed till today.
The new Memorandum of Understanding further focuses on knowledge sharing on coaching license course and coach education programmes in order to cooperate together for a further development of football in both Germany and Japan.
Having visited DFB President, Mr. GRINDEL Reinhard and General Secretary, Mr. CURTIUS Friedrich at the headquarters of DFB, JFA President TASHIMA Kohzo expressed his appreciation. “I am very pleased and honoured by this meaningful moment to renew our partnership. We have a long history of friendship and exchanges over half a century. This partnership will further strengthen our ties in various areas such as coach education and players development. We look forward to continuing our exchanges with DFB to develop our game to the world standard.”

The MoU between DFB and JFA aims to cooperate with each other in the areas as follows:
・Coach education
・Consultation to improve coaching license courses and instructors
・National Team’s management
・Youth Development
・Grassroots
・Administration
・Training camps and exchange programmes (for various national team categories)
・Marketing and consulting
Until today JFA has signed MoU with the following football associations and confederation:

[ASEAN] Indonesia, Laos, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam
[South] India
[Central] Iran, Uzbekistan
