Japan resubmits the “Bidding Registration” to FIFA in bid to host the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023™

Japan Football Association (JFA) resubmitted today, 28 August, the bidding registration to FIFA for their bid to host the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, acknowledging the changes and receiving updated requirements after FIFA had decided to expand the tournament to 32 participating teams.
The bidding process will now take place in the order listed below.

2 September 2019 | Deadline to resubmit the bidding registration to FIFA |

13 December 2019 | Submission of the bid book, the signed hosting agreement and all other hosting documents to FIFA |
May 2020 | Expected appointment date of the host(s) by the FIFA Council |
