New training for both JFA Official Class C Coaches and Official Class C Futsal Coaches held in Fukuoka
10 December 2014
The new training course for both JFA Official Class C Coaches and Official Class C Futsal Coaches, which has been launched this year, was held at the Fukuoka Global Arena in Fukuoka prefecture, from 1 to 7 December.
To get the Official Class C Futsal Coach license, they had to apply for the training after getting the Official Class C Coach license in their local area. The new training course that has just been launched enables the individual to get both licenses at once by participating in 7-days of training sessions including basic understanding about coaching football and futsal as well as general knowledge about coaching. The schedule of this training course was hectic from early morning to late night, but 24 participants worked very hard trying to create positive and fun learning environment in both lectures and practical trainings.
Comments from Instructors
MAEKAWA Yoshiobu, Instructor
It was hard and busy training throughout the 7 days. Regardless, the advantage is participants could learn about both football and futsal in one training course. I think they had some difficulties in following the 2 different characteristics in coaching but I appreciate them for catching up very quickly. Getting the license is not the end goal but the beginning for them, so I am looking forward to seeing them again sometime in the future.
KONISHI Teppei, Instructor
I appreciate the participants for ending this training course without any accident. They prepared themselves very well for each session and had very good teamwork together when it was needed. I feel that the participants have learned well to become good coaches through the 7-days training. I expect them to work with passion with the players in their local teams.
Comments from Participants
Mr. SAITO Kenji
The training environment was wonderful because the both gym and the ground were in the same training venue. Lectures were very good with careful explanation and it was very comfortable for me to fit myself in the schedule since they were very clear about when to work very intensively and when to take it easier. It was very helpful for me to get answers to some of my questions such as about effectiveness of demonstrations.
Mr. TAKIGUCHI Michiyasu
It was hard training course but I could learn from point of view of both football and futsal. I had been bit nervous before the training but I appreciate instructors’ effort to break my nervousness by guiding us when to be serious and when not to be. I also understood the instructors’ passion throughout the training and now I’m interested in becoming an Official Class B Coach.
Mr. YOMONO Shion
It was good opportunity for me to meet with various coaches from different areas and to see different coaching approaches. Even though the schedule was indeed tight, I am grateful for experiencing many things at once. One thing especially helpful to me is how you coach children. Since I cannot experience coaching much in my local team, I could see lot of good examples here. I also understood the difference between teaching and coaching so I want to use the knowledge for our young players. It was an encouraging opportunity.
