Captain Tsubasa Stadium Shin-Osaka held JFA Nadeshiko Friends Square on Wednesday, 9 July. Women players, many of them were beginners, joined the event in spite of drizzle, enjoying various programs such as a Shippo-tori game, or tag game, that they could have fun to learn and a actual futsal game in 5-on-5 style at the end.
There were many participants who played futsal for the first time on this occasion or who came to be interested in soccer through the World Cup.
They came out of their shells with each other soon after starting to touch a ball, and played with fun during the whole event, though they looked to feel strongly nervous at the beginning.

Our stadium, at the very opening, really struggled to attract women customers to use. However, beginning to focus more spotlights on women athletes and their plays has increased the number of women users of this stadium greatly. Now the environment for women to be able to play their familiar sports has been created and a variety of facilities have been built for women to use this stadium more comfortable. I believe a kind of efforts like a JFA Nadeshiko Friends Square will lead to women sports’ development naturally, as elementary school girls easily have opportunities to play sports. I will also continue to make my everyday’s effort in order to promote the fun of sports to people who rarely had a chance to do sports in their elementary school.

I played futsal game at Captain Tsubasa Stadium Shin-Osaka for the first time. I really felt nervous right before the beginning, but I could open up to with other participants through amusing programs such as a Shippo-tori game after warm-up, enjoying 2hours by surprising fast. The mood at Captain Tsubasa Stadium Shin-Osaka was so warm, creating a friendly environment.
Coaches were also so gentle and interesting that I could feel familiarity with them! That was a wonderful opportunity for me to get to know with various people though futsal!!
