1,791 kids enjoyed football in JFA Uniqlo Soccer Kids at the Kashima Soccer Stadium, Ibaraki

The JFA Uniqlo Soccer Kids is a series of fun football events where any children of age 6 and under can enjoy football. This year the event is held in 14 venues such as major domes and football stadiums all over Japan. 1,791 kids joined in this event which was held in Kashima Soccer Stadium on Sunday 19 October.

I think it was a very good experience for our kids to play football in this stadium where you can’t usually enter. There are some young kids who do not understand the rules yet, but they looked as though they very much enjoyed running and chasing a ball in this event. We first got the information about this event from our nursery and we decided to join it for the first time. I was impressed by some of our girl players because they had not had particular chance to play football before, even though some of their older siblings play football, but enjoyed football as well as the other kids who already had football experience.
