AFC Annual Awards 2015 Trophies on Display

From 2nd December, the Japan Football Museum is exhibiting the trophies from “AFC Annual Awards 2015” awarded for AFC Member Association of the Year (Inspiring Category), AFC Dream Asia Trophy, AFC Coach of the Year (women) and AFC National Team of the Year (women). The “AFC Annual Awards 2015” was held in New Delhi, India on 29 November 2015.
This year, Japan was awarded in total of 7 categories which include:
- AFC Member Association of the Year (Inspiring Category)
In recognition of a Member Association’s professional administration and governance as well its
exceptional contribution to the development and promotion of the game at all levels within the country.
- AFC Coach of the Year (women)
TAKAKURA Asako for four consecutive years.
- AFC National Team of the Year (women).
Nadeshiko Japan (Japan Women’s National Team)
- AFC Youth Player of the Year (women).
KOBAYASHI Rikako (U-16 Women’s National Team)
- AFC Fair Play Association of the Year.
- AFC Dream Asia
In recognition of the Member Associations which have shown exemplary commitment towards social
development.
- AFC President Recognition Awards for Grassroots Football
It is now the chance to have a close view of these awards.
