Japan Football Museum to exhibit SAMURAI BLUE Jerseys and Medals from the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019

Starting from Friday 8 February, the Japan Football Museum will exhibit items from the AFC Asian Cup UAE 2019, which took place from Saturday 5 January to Friday 1 February. At the second basement floor of the Museum where admission fee is required, the jerseys worn by the players of the Japan National Team, the runners-up medal, Fair-Play Award trophy, memorial shield of the tournament, used ball (with signs from Coach MORIYASU Hajime and the players of the Japan National Team), and the AD card from the tournament will be on display.

In their first official tournament under the Coach Moriyasu Hajime regime, despite the struggle, the team won all six matches they faced to enter the final, where they suffered their first defeat to finish the tournament as the runners-up. Japan was also awarded with the Fair-Play Award at this tournament.

SAMURAI BLUE Match Report of the Final

On Friday 22 March, the SAMURAI BLUE will face the Colombia National Team in the KIRIN CHALLENGE CUP 2019 at Nissan Stadium, followed by their encounter with the Bolivia National Team on Tuesday 26 at Noevir Stadium Kobe.
