Kids Traveling Guidance Report (November)
20 December 2021
With the support of the Kids committees of each prefectural football association (FA), JFA has been holding “Traveling guidance” courses throughout the nation. The courses are held by the “Traveling guidance staffs” of each prefectural FA, where the staffs attend kindergartens, nurseries, and primary schools to provide various programmes for children to enjoy football. Joined by guidance staffs who specialise in coaching football, teachers who may not have the experience or knowledge to instruct football, are enabled to hold sessions to allow the children to exercise using the ball. Here we will introduce the traveling guidance activities that were recently conducted.
Thu. 10 November, Kasugai Nishi Nursery (Fuefuki, Yamanashi)
A football class was held for 22 children of the 5 year old class. The weather was good, and everyone had a great time.
We aim to give the children the opportunity to experience the joy and pleasure of playing football and exercising under the mottos: "Enjoy playing football with energy," "Don't give up until you have done something difficult," "Let's give it our best effort," "Keep trying, no matter how many times you fail." The kids were smiling and working hard, saying "I did it coach!" and "I'll do my best!"
Traveling Guidance will continue to work with children to bring fun and joy to their daily lives.
Coaches and Teacher's Comments
MOCHIZUKI Shota (FA Traveling Guidance Staff)
I was very happy to play football with the children. It was great to see how energetic they were and how well they listened to us. In the last game, the children showed great joy when they scored a goal and cheered for their friends when they were waiting. We are looking forward to playing football with them again!
YAMANAKA Ryoji (FA Traveling Guidance Staff)
The children were really looking forward to the football class and were full of energy, smiles, and positive attitudes. In the final game, we were impressed with the way the children showed their enthusiasm for winning the game. It was also great to see how much fun they had playing football and exercising.
Ms. NAKAMURA Seiko, Teacher
From the way the coaches called themselves, they did a great job of capturing the children's attention and explaining things using words such as "rocket," "banana," "crab," and "rabbit," which deepened the children's understanding and interest. The children are still waving at the moon, saying "Coach Tookie!" The “Green card” has also given them motivation to behave well. Thank you very much.
