Coach and Players' Comments

JOFUKU Hiroshi, Coach (F.C. Tokyo)
Tomorrow’s match will also be the first one for this year’s J.League. Although it’ll be a one-shot deal, we have to face it to get through to the ACL. We’ll do our best to play in the ACL as representatives of Japan. The players are well prepared. If we display 100% of our strength, I believe we can get through. Having said that, Chonburi FC did play very well against Kashiwa Reysol last year, and have highly talented players. There are some players, with whom we have to be extremely careful. We’d like to play as a united team.

MORISHIGE Masato (F.C. Tokyo)
We have prepared well as a team since the Okinawa training camp. A good atmosphere has stayed around the team after coming back to Tokyo. I believe we can face the match in an excellent condition. I look forward to it.

Jukkapant PUNPEE, Coach (Chonburi FC)
After we played a match last week, we didn’t have enough time to rest. However, we studied the attacking patterns and methods of F.C. Tokyo. Although I think F.C. Tokyo is a tough team, we’d like to display all our strength as much as possible, as we came this far.

Therdsak CHAIMAN (Chonburi FC)
I think F.C. Tokyo is very strong. On top of that, we came to Tokyo from a warmer place and struggle to play in this cold weather. Having said that, I’ll do my best. As we played well against Kashiwa Reysol last year, I hope to surprise people tomorrow.
