Okayama Sakuyo High School to face Orca Kamogawa FC at the 3rd Round of the Empress's Cup JFA 41st Japan Women's Football Championship

The third round of the Empress's Cup JFA 41st Japan Women's Football Championship is about to take place on Saturday 30 November, Sunday 1 and Wednesday 4 December.
Three matches will take place at Shizuoka during the weekend, where Urawa Red Diamonds Ladies (Nadeshiko1/Saitama) will face Shizuoka Sangyo University Iwata Bonita (Nadeshiko2/ Shizuoka) on Saturday.
On Sunday, AC Nagano Parceiro Ladies (Nadeshiko1/Nagano) will face Nittaidai FIELDS Yokohama (Nadeshiko1/Kanagawa), while Iga FC Kunoichi (Nadeshiko1/Mie) will clash against Mynavi Vegalta Sendai Ladies (Nadeshiko1/Miyagi).
In a match held in Hiroshima, Okayama Sakuyo High School (Chugoku/Okayama) is scheduled to face Orca Kamogawa FC (Nadeshiko2/Chiba). After pulling off a major upset against JEF United Chiba Ladies (Nadeshiko1/Chiba) at the second round, Okayama Sakuyo’s coach IKEDA Hiroko shared her aspiration ahead of the third round, “Our players are eager to put up a good fight against teams from higher categories. We are given a wonderful opportunity to improve our team, so we hope to make the most of this opportunity.”
Oraca Kamogawa’s coach YAMAZAKI Makoto also mentioned his approach towards the match, “This might sound weird, but I am not considering Okayama Sakuyo as a high school team. I think it is important that we enter the match with such mentality.”
In the other three matches taking place at Hiroshima, matchups between division one and division two teams from the Nadeshiko League will be on display, as Albirex Niigata Ladies (Nadeshiko1/Niigata), INAC Kobe Leonessa (Nadeshiko1/Hyogo), and Nojima Stella Kanagawa Sagamihara (Nadeshiko1/Kanagawa) are scheduled to face Chifure AS Elfen Saitama (Nadeshiko2/Saitama), Cerezo Osaka Sakai Ladies (Nadeshiko2/Osaka), and Ehime FC Ladies (Nadeshiko2/Ehime) respectively.
With the defending champions Nippon TV Beleza (Nadeshiko1/Tokyo) currently taking part in the AFC Women's Club Championship 2019 FIFA/AFC Pilot Tournament held in Korea Republic, their match will take place on Wednesday 4 December, where they will face Nippatsu Yokohama FC Seagulls (Nadeshiko2/Kanagawa) in Tokyo.
