Official draw set fixtures for FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2015
23 September 2015
At the headquarter of Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) in Zurich, Switzerland, the official draw took place for the FIFA Club World Cup Japan 2015 to kick off in Yokohama and Osaka from 10 December this year. This is to announce the determined fixtures.
Accordingly, the draw also laid out the two semi-final matches to be held on Sunday 13 December at Yanmar Stadium Nagai.
DAINI Kuniya, President of Japan Football Association
With all the fixtures determined, the opening of the FIFA Club World Cup, which Japan host for the first time in three years, is just around the corner. The full-scale preparation is now underway to welcome all the football fans, supporters and everyone else involved and let them fully enjoy the tournament and the stay in Japan.
We also look forward to finding out which club advances out of Africa and Asia. In the AFC Champions League 2015, Gamba Osaka have made it through to the semi-final so far. I hope they will win the Asian championship title and showcase their football to the whole world.
