29 April 2014
The JFA Premier Cup 2014 supported by NIKE is to provide an opportunity for improvement of football skills and growth of a healthy body and mind to players under 15 years old who will be the centrepiece of the future for Japan’s football. The tournament is open to all teams registered in the third class.
The champion team will be awarded with a spot in the Manchester United Premier Cup World Finals 2014 (Wed. 6 - Sat. 9 August 2014 in Manchester, UK).
This time we introduce three teams representing the Tokai Region, Kansai Region and Chugoku Region.
Nagoya Grampus U-15
Region and Prefecture | Representing Tokai Region / Aichi Prefecture |

Appearance | 6th Appearance |
Team Comment | Nagoya Grampus U15 focuses on improving players’ strength based on our fundamental philosophy of making their strength even better, rather than trying to cover up their weakness. By doing so, we aim to develop good enough players to play at the world’s elite level. We also prioritise their growth as a person and we believe they should possess sufficient communication skills. Our goal in this tournamentis to play football where all players flexibly play off of each other both offensively and defensively, and we will play as one team. |
Vissel Kobe U-15
Region and Prefecture | Representing Kansai Region / Hyogo Prefecture |
---|---|
Appearance | 4th Appearance |
Team Comment | The vision of Vissel Kobe U-15 is to develop “well-rounded players who lead Japan and flourish in the world”. Our development system is very consistent and focuses on improving individual skills, mastering strategies and increasing athleticism. We also believe their development as a person is crucial, therefore we teach players the importance of achieving goals even off the pitch. |
Sanfrecce Hiroshima F.C Junior Youth
Region and Prefecture | Representing Chugoku Region / Hiroshima Prefecture |
---|---|
Appearance | 11th Appearance |
Team Comment | We are the lower division of Sanfrecce Hiroshima. Our junior youth team lies within our consistent player development concept from the junior level to the youth level. We aim to cultivate independence, stability and creativity in players while we always try to stimulate players’ willingness to get better. The team consists of a selected group of junior high school students residing in and near City of Hiroshima, as we practice four out of five weekdays and mostly play matches on weekends. |
