Nittele Menina Serias 3-0(1st 1-0, 2nd 2-0) Tochigi Soccer Club Ladies
NTV Menina Serias (Kanto2/ Tokyo) straggled at first due to a caution which one of the key central mid fielder got, but Ueki Riko struck the opener on 32 minutes. “We got more into the game after the goal made by our striker. That goal meant more than a goal”, said Mochizuki Takashi, the head coach of the team. Eventually, NTV Menina Serias moved on to the final, making the score 3-0, with 2 additional goals in the second half.
Comments
MOCHIZUKI Takashi, Head Coach, NTV Menina Serias
Since Urawa beat us formally in the Kanto Qualifying Round, we just want to have a better match with them this time. I expect a revenge for them, I’m sure that our players are better prepared for the match against them now.
UEKI Riko, Player, NTV Menina Serias
Tochigi Soccer Club Ladies was stronger than any other teams we played in this semi-final. It was a difficult game, especially considering that I have got injuries in the first half, but I’m happy that all of our team mates played well to win the match eventually.
WAKAMATSU Yuya, Head Coach, Tochigi Soccer Club Ladies
The opponents were better due to their levels of individual skill. We were lacking attention to a strict and difficult situation in our daily training and that lead us to lose the match today.
KICHIMA Karen, Player, Tochigi Soccer Club Ladies
We achieved our aim to be in the top 4 teams, but I still wanted to win the championship. I think we played well from the beginning of the match, but we had to deal with the difference of their level of skills.

Semi-Final, 2nd Game
Urawa Reds Ladies Jr.Youth 2-1(1st 0-1, 2nd 2-0) Albirex Niigata Ladies U-15
Urawa Reds Ladies Jr.Youth’s head coach Nagai Yoshiaki said that they all were “stunned” at the goal made by Albirex Niigata Ladies U-15 (Kanto 1/ Saitama) just 1 minute after the kick-off.
Comments
NAGAI Yoshiaki, Head Coach, Urawa Reds Ladies Jr.Youth
The first half was difficult and I said “you are the ones who can show your aggressiveness to everyone” to the players at the half-time break. They played well in the second half. I expect them to keep their level of play in the final match.
INOUE Moe, Player, Urawa Reds Ladies Jr.Youth
How we started the game was not good and we could not play as we wanted in the first half. The words from our coach at the half-time break encouraged us a lot and we were able to play better in the second half.
EHASHI Katsura, Head Coach, Albirex Niigata Ladies U-15
Urawa Reds’ players were much better and we could not have much possession against them in the match. I found that they had not only high level of play, but also strong spirit to win the match.
KARAHASHI Mayu, Player, Albirex Niigata Ladies U-15
I’m kicking myself for losing the match today, we couldn’t do much offense. But we could win the difficult quarterfinal match showing guts and it was a good opportunity for us to strengthen our mentality.
