Teams favorite to win the 20th All Japan Youth(U-15) Futsal Championship

The 20th All Japan Youth (U-15) Futsal Championship is going to start for three-days on Saturday 10 January to Monday/Holiday, 12 January 2015. The championship to determine the number one futsal team of U-15 in Japan, participated by sixteen teams. Sixteen teams come from all over Japan, nine teams who won the regional qualifiers, six teams from the regions of bigger numbers of entry teams (Hokkaido 2, Kanto 1, Hokushinetsu 2, Tokai 1) and one team representing host prefecture of Aichi. The first round is grouped into four groups consisting of four teams each and group winners advanced to final round.

In two recent championships, teams from Niigata crowned the Japan championship - Nagaoka JYFC in the 18th championship and FC Ikarashi Junior Youth (U-15) in the 19th championship. You cannot miss games of three Niigata teams this year as well and no doubt about one of must-see actions in this year’s championship.

In Group A, Esprit Nagaoka FC (Hokushinetsu 3/Niigata)who beat FC Ikarashi in prefecture qualifier is another team to keep an eye on for their individual skills. But there should be tough battles expected from day 1 in the group as last year’s runner-up Consadore Asahikawa U-15(Hokkaido 2) and Midorihigashi Football Club (Tokai 1/Aichi) slotted in the group.

Nagaoka JYFC borboleta (Hokushinetsu 1/Niigata)in Group B clinched Hokushinetsu qualifier for four straight years for seventh entry to the championship. Nagaoka JYFC snapped top of Hokushietsu league table and participated in Prince Takamado Trophy the 26th All Japan Youth (U-15) Football Tournament in last December. Nagaoka FC is outstanding club for sending three teams to the championship and all of which finishing Hokushinetsu qualifier in excellent results - winner, runner-up and fourth place. You cannot forget another competitive team, malva ibaraki fc (Kanto 2/Ibaraki). They are well-organized and have good individual skills and advanced to last four in the previous championship.

In Group C, Nagaoka JYFC vespa (Hokushinetsu 2/Niigata) takes on killers from the north and the south, namely Obikita Ambitious (Hokkaido 3) and Yaese Gushikami Junior High School (Kyushu/Okinawa). Close games are expected in this group with Brincar FC U-15 (Host city/Aichi) who reached third place in the previous championship for their high standard of individual skills.

There will be matchup among Athpegas FC (Kansai/Nara) who qualified for the first time since the 18th championship, Matsuyama Mitsuhama Junior High School (Shikoku/Ehime) made it since the 15th championship and debutant Maebashi Junior Youth(Kanto 1/Gunma). Please don’t miss the battles between Maebashi who beat top-tier teams in Kanto and the rest of three teams who has the championship experience.
