08 April 2015
The fourth section of the group stage in the AFC Champions League 2015 will take place on Wednesday 8 April. Urawa Reds will play against Beijing Guoan from China at home. The press conference was held prior to the match.

MIHAILO Petrovic, the head coach
We absolutely have to win the coming match, as we have lost three consecutive ones. Although we’re in a tough situation, I wouldn’t say we have played too badly so far. I don’t think we’re weaker than Beijing Guoan, against whom we lost an away game before. I expect that the opponent will play to win one point, focusing on their defence, but we will play aggressively.
The AFC Champions League is one of the best championships in Asia, in which top teams of each country competitively play against each other. In terms of the Chinese league, each team has talented players with abundant funding, which has improved the level of the entire league. The Chinese government also intends to improve the level of their football. It’s vital for us to believe that we can win tomorrow’s game.
NASU Daisuke
As we know what we must do, it’s essential for each one of us to play strongly when close to the ball and to play our style. An opponent, representing their country, can be formidable. We played competitively last time, but lost in the end. However, I believe we have improved ourselves through those tough matches and that it’s up to us, not to the opponent, whether we can win or not.
Beijing Guoan
GREGORIO MANZANO BALLESTEROS, the head coach
I’m delighted by the fact we’re at the excellent Saitama Stadium in a great city, Urawa. I expect that tomorrow’s match will be an exciting one, in which both teams will show their short passing skills.
Although Urawa haven’t won any points yet, I know they’re strong. We had a tough game against them at home. So I believe they will play to win three points tomorrow. However, as we are always required to win, we’ll play aggressively to win three points too.
ERTON Fejzullahu
As Urawa will clearly play to win three points, I expect it’s going to be a very tough game. Having said that, we’d also like to play to win three points, showing all our abilities.
As many Urawa’s supporters will come to the stadium for tomorrow’s match, I’m looking forward to playing in such an atmosphere. I’d like to score a goal for the first time in the ACL.
