The 96th Emperor's Cup All Japan Football Championship: Teams representing Yamanashi and Kochi Prefectures decided

The finals of Yamanashi and Kochi Prefectures were both held on 31 July and the two participating teams in the 96th Emperor's Cup All Japan Football Championship were decided. The following tournament will begin on 27 August. 

Yamanashi: 21st Yamanashi Prefectural Football Championship Final

Sunday 31 July, Kick-off at 13:00 at Yamanashi Chuo Bank Stadium
Yamanashi Gakuin University Pegasus  0-1  Yamanashi Gakuin University Orions
*Yamanashi Gakuin University Orions is making their second appearance in the Emperor Cup since 2012.
*Yamanashi Gakuin University Orions will take on the team representing Tochigi Prefecture in their first match of the tournament at Tochigi Prefecture Green Stadium on August 27.

Kochi: 21st Kochi Prefectural Football Championship Final

Sunday 31 July, Kick-off at 13:05 at Kochi Athletic Recreation Park
Kochi University  1-2  Kochi United SC
*Kochi United SC is making their first-time appearance in the Emperor Cup.
*Kochi United SC will take on V.Varen Nagasaki in their first match of the tournament at Nagasaki Prefectural Sport & Recreational Park on August 27.

Prefectural representatives who already qualified for the Emperor's Cup

Saitama: Tokyo International University (2 consecutive years, 4th appearance)
Shimane: Matsue City FC (2 consecutive years, 3rd appearance)
Hiroshima: SRC Hiroshima (3rd appearance since 2014)
Kagawa: R.VELHO Takamatsu (1st apperance)
Tokushima: FC Tokushima Celeste (1st appearance)
Fukuoka: Fukuoka University (6 consecutive years, 31st appearance)
Nagasaki: MD Nagasaki (1st appearance)
Kumamoto: Tokai University Kumamoto (2 consecutive years, 2nd appearance)
