JFA to launch inaugural U-16 International Dream Cup 2015 JAPAN in June

Japan Football Association (JFA) announced today that JFA will launch international competition for U-16 named “U-16 International Dream Cup 2015 JAPAN Presented by JFA”, starting from 24 to 28 June 2015 in Osaka. This competition is designed to provide young generations with opportunities for international experience.
Mr. DAINI Kuniya, President of Japan Football Association, stressed the importance of gaining experiences, “It is vital for youth players to experience as many competitions as possible at international level, in order to raise the level of football not only in Japan but also in the world as a whole. I expect young players to gain valuable experiences through this competition”
The inaugural edition will be competed by 4 teams of U-16 Chile, U-16 Costa Rica, U-16 France, and U-16 Japan National Teams.
The match schedule of the competition is as follows:
Match Day 1 : Wednesday, 24 June 2015
U-16 Japan National Team vs. U-16 Costa Rica National Team
U-16 France National Team vs. U-16 Chile National Team
Match Day 2 : Friday, 26 June 2015
U-16 Japan National Team vs. U-16 Chile National Team
U-16 France National Team vs. U-16 Costa Rica National Team
Match Day 3 : Sunday, 28 June 2015
U-16 Chile National Team vs. U-16 Costa Rica National Team
