With her exceptional stamina and running ability, she is capable of running up and down the flank for the entire 90 minutes.
She has been a regular at right-back for Nadeshiko Japan since 2018.
She has also made her presence felt on the right flank for Japan at the FIFA Women's World Cups in 2019 and 2023 and at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2021.
During her time at West Ham United (England), where she played for two seasons from 2022, she strengthened her defence through physical training and a series of intense duels against world-class opponents.
She also played as a defensive midfielder last season and was increasingly involved in goalscoring opportunities for the national team.
She is the type of person who sets many small goals, and her motto is “The more effort you put in, the more flowers will bloom.”
