Kickoff time set for Nadeshiko-New Zealand friendly

The Japan women’s team will play New Zealand at 7:35 p,m, on May 8 in the “Nadeshiko Japan World Match,” at Kincho Stadium in Osaka.
The friendly international has been arranged as a warm-up for the Nadeshiko before they go to the AFC Women’s Asian Cup in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, slated for May 14-25.
The AFC tournament will serve as the Asian qualifiers for the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. The top five finishers will win a ticket to next year’s finals in Canada.
Japan will play Vietnam, Australia and Jordan in the group stage of the Asian Cup.
