Comment of Coach IKEDA Futoshi (Nadeshiko Japan)

We are delighted to be given the opportunity to play against the current European Champions, the England Women's National Team. This year's UEFA Women's EURO in July featured high intensity battles in front of large crowds, and I was greatly inspired by the performance displayed by the England Women's National Team. Following our matches against Nigeria Women's National Team and New Zealand Women's National Team in October, being able to compete against teams with a proven track record is invaluable for us. I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to enabling the Nadeshiko Japan to conduct an overseas tour as the last activity of the year.
