Beach Soccer Japan National Team travel to Hungary

Beach Soccer Japan National Team travelled to Hungary for an international friendship match against Hungary on 28 July, after BSWW Mundilaito 2014.

On the arrival day, the players had good rest in the daytime and a training session in the evening. Considering the series of matches they had and tiredness from the journey to Hungary, the evening training consisted of lighter sessions such as warming up exercises, 4-on-4 or 2-on-2 mini-games, and shooting practice from corner and free kicks. At the end of the training, all people including supporting staff had a mini-game and they had a good and cheerful chance to communicate with each other.

Siofok, the city where the Japanese National Team is based while in Hungary, is located near Lake Balaton which is the biggest lake in Europe and is one of the most popular summer holiday destinations, not only amongst Hungarians but also amongst foreigners. There are many restaurants and event venues around the permanent beach soccer pitches which Hungary Football Federation owns, and lots of people enjoy this area through the night time especially on weekends.

The Japanese team will have training for three days from tomorrow to prepare for the matches against Hungary on 1 and 2 August.

Comments

GINOZA Tomoya(TOKYO LEQUIOS BS)
It was a pity that we could not win the title in the BSWW Mundilaito 2014 competition, the first international matches with Mr. Marcelo, the coach of the team, but we could see what we need to improve as players and as a team. In the coming matches against Hungary, we want to maintain our level of play, overcoming what we could not do well in the previous matches to achieve what Mr. Marcelo wants us to do. Regardless of some tiredness or frustration due to the previous match, we had training this evening. It was good that we could play in a good and relaxing atmosphere mainly with the players who have not played in the previous matches.

HARAGUCHI Shotaro(TOKYO LEQUIOS BS)
It was my first opportunity to play in the international matches and I could experience many things such as nervousness and the difficulty of play for international matches. We finished in second place in the BSWW Mundilaito 2014 competition and we could find what to do not only as a individual player but also as a team. We want to face those issues well throughout the training and the friendship matches here in Hungary. Personally, I want to express my strengths and score goals to contribute to the victory in the matches with Hungary.

AKAGUMA Takuya(Dorsole KITAKYUSHU)
It was my first tour outside of Japan as a player and I have had good experiences both in Portugal and in Hungary; all is really new to me. The atmosphere of the team is very good. We will train well for the next three days to prepare for the international friendship matches with Hungary.
