Japan U-19 squad leave Miyazaki, prepare for trip to Myanmar
04 October 2014
They were blessed with a nice weather, the team was able to hold their practice under a sunny sky on the final day of the Miyazaki camp.
Considering the fatigue from their training game of the previous day, they played 4-on-2 passing drills, and then had a 12-on-12 game with the staff members involved for about an hour and a half to wrap up the entire schedule of their Miyazaki camp.
After that, the team told their appreciation to those who took care of them during the camp. With the support of the local people, they finished the training camp smoothly. With the appreciation in their chest, the team left the hotel and headed for the airport. On their way to the airport, they stopped by Teruha Otsuribashi, which is one of the longest suspension bridges in Japan, enjoyed the short time.
The team then returned to Tokyo and arrived at a hotel they’d stay. They held a meeting at night to prepare for the following day’s match against Myanmar.
The team would move to Myanmar on Saturday morning and tune up for the AFC Under-19 Championship.
Comments
MIURA Genta (Shimizu S-Pulse)
We held our training and games in such great circumstances in our Miyazaki camp, spending valuable time there. In the game, I think that we were able to play with the firm image of what we wanted to do and prepare ourselves well enough. We got to have unity and finished our domestic camp in a good mood.
MOCHIZUKI Reo (Nagoya Grampus)
We got to be able to have a fruitful training camp in the very well-featured circumstances. We shared our thoughts to enter our practices and games. We would like to bring what we did in Miyazaki to Myanmar and tune ourselves up well to get into the tournament.
MIYAHARA Kazuya (Sanfrecce Hiroshima FC)
As we wrapped up our training camp in Miyazaki, it gave very satisfying preparation to both myself and the team.
For the final qualifier, I think every game is going to be a very tough battle. But we were able to have good preparations in the good circumstances in order for that, and I think our solidarity level has developed as well.
When we go to Myanmar, we want to maintain the mood and hopefully we can put up good outcomes.
