U-16 France National Team arrive for U-16 International Dream Cup 2015 JAPAN Presented by JFA
23 June 2015
The U-16 France National Team arrived in Japan for the U-16 International Dream Cup 2015 JAPAN Presented by JFA to be held from Wednesday 24 June at J-GREEN Sakai and Kincho Stadium (Osaka Prefecture).
They left France after finishing up a training camp of several days in Clairefontaine, France. Due to the fatigue from the training sessions there as well as the long travel, the team limited their practice to a very light one and rested themselves for the tournament.
Head Coach and Players' Comments
Laurent GUYOT, Head Coach
It’s my first time to be here in Japan. It’s hot and the humidity is high. Today we focused on recovering ourselves from the fatigue from the long travel, but from tomorrow, we will start training to get our conditions up for the matches.
DF #5 Dan ZAGADOU
Everybody on this team including myself is happy to come to Japan this time. Japan is a country that we don’t have many chances to come to, and the long flight like this was my first experience. To be honest, I am tired, but I want to make it a great tournament for us.
GK #1 Gaëtan POUSSIN
There are great environment and facility here for players to focus on football. I feel the high humidity, but we have good environment to get ready to play a good tournament. So I want to leave a good result.
