Japan Women's Futsal National Team camp Day 3 for AFC Women's Futsal Championship Malaysia 2015
18 September 2015
Ahead of the AFC Women's Futsal Championship Malaysia 2015, Japan Women's Futsal National Team held the final tune-up in Japan as they had two-a-day training in the morning and afternoon of the second day and third day of the camp.
At a meeting held before the afternoon session on the second day, coach ARIHIRA Masaaki spoke to the squad to share the attacking concept within the team. Then, the players repeatedly practised attacking moves to ensure that game plan. In the afternoon of the third day, the squad played an intrasquad game to go through their tactics that they had worked on.
In the last night of their camp ahead of the tournament, the team enjoyed a barbeque. They gave a surprise celebration to SEKI Kaori, who just had her birthday during the camp. The players strengthened their chemistry in a relaxed mood to recharge their energy for the upcoming AFC Women’s Futsal Championship Malaysia 2015.
Players' Comments
FP #12 FUJITA Yasuka (arco-iris KOBE)
Today was the last day for the camp in Japan and we had an intrasquad game. We found what to improve as a team and me as a player, and I think it was a good preparation work. With the feelings of former national team players and everyone else involved, we will play together and do our best.
FP #14 SEKI Kaori (ASTRO)
The final training in Japan finished for the AFC Women’s Futsal Championship Malaysia 2015. We had a intrasquad game in the afternoon, where we went through what we had to improve so far and made sure our communication and teamwork. After we arrive there, we will keep sharing our understanding of the team and keep ourselves in good condition as a team. We will do our best to win the title.
FP #11 KITAGAWA Kana (Maruoka RUCK Ladies)
Tomorrow, we finally leave for Malaysia. In this camp in Japan, it was such a short camp as three days, but we communicated well with each other and did good preparations for the upcoming matches. In the tournament, we will make sure to execute what we are expected to do, and try to win the inaugural AFC Women’s Futsal Championship Malaysia 2015 title. I hope people will cheer for us.
