Japan Futsal National Team undertake match simulation for Czech clash amid their Europe trip
05 December 2015
On Friday 4 December, the day two in Czech centred on match-style simulation to carefully go through tactics and positioning. Coach Miguel repeatedly stopped the plays and communicated how to move from one spot to another and where to send passes to his players all in order to attack the opponents off guard as well as utilise the strength of Japan’s squad. After coming back to their hotel, the team had a video session, where all players watched the footage of the previous match against Czech and shared the game plan for the upcoming rematch.
Also on this day, YOSHIKAWA Tomoki, who plays for the Spain League’s first division club MAGNA GURPEA, arrived just in time for the film session. He is expected to bring a new element to the team from the next day’s training. The 10 total days have passed since the squad set their foot on the European land. As the time went on, the communication among the team got better, creating a favourable atmosphere for the matches against Czech.

Players' Comments
MORIOKA Kaoru (NAGOYA OCEANS)
It was the third day after we arrived in Czech. Different from yesterday, the training today was intense with an eye for the match against Czech. Yoshikawa joined us from Spain and tomorrow we will move to next hotel closer to the match venue and practice one more time. We will keep making good preparation as a team for the international friendly against Czech, and do our best to get two wins.
NIBUYA Kazuhiro (VASAGEY OITA)
We have only four more days left in this Europe trip. Every day is so meaningful and we are doing good preparation work for the AFC Futsal Championship in February next year in Uzbekistan. The Croatia match ended disappointingly for us, so we will go all out for the Czech match to get good results with good details. We want to keep telling the world with our plays that the Japan’s national team are really good.
