Overseas-based players gathered on Tuesday 24 May and started training in Chiba in the run-up to the KIRIN CUP SOCCER 2016. The training aiming at conditioning recovery of the players who have just finished the season got into the final day on Sunday 29. Coach Vahid HALILHODZIC led the training session energetically until the end of the day.

The team left for Toyota after lunch, where the first match against Bulgaria is scheduled to take place. With players from the domestic league joining the team on Monday 30, the full squad will begin the next phase of preparation for their opener.
