U-18s win group at int’l tournament in Russia

The Japan U-18 side beat Greece 1-0 in their second game at the Valentin Granatkin Memorial international youth tournament in St. Petersburg, Russia, on Monday.
Shindo Ryosuke struck in the last minute to give the young Japanese team their second straight win in the competition.
As they have already beaten the Czech Republic, Japan secured the top place in Group C. They will play their final group game against Azerbaijan.
A total of 16 teams are divided into four groups of four teams for the group stage. The classification matches will be played from Thursday to Sunday.
