As one of the foundational objectives for the JFA to have established the Academy, they intend to develop talents that will lead the contribution to the society and that those who can stand out outside football as well. We are assisting these junior high school students that are considered in their sensitive periods of their life from the scholarship perspectives.
In fact, the students have great attitudes that they enter their study time in time and keep their concentration. I think that that is something that could be applied for their athletic activities.
For the Kumon educational programme, the JFA’s staff coaches, including their school master Mr. Nuno, are proactively working to be involved in it, and we got to understand that they are really aware of their educational part, not just football and their everyday life.
We are looking forward to the students'
Players' Comments
ONO Haruka Player (Ninth-term/first-year junior high school student)
We hat a Kumon test on Wednesday, the 16th April. I had no idea on what kind of test we would be given before that, but the tests were on additions and subtractions of fractions. We know that as we will keep working on this Kumon, the contests will be more difficult, so I would like to do my best keeping my concentration as much as possible.
KAGAMI Ren (Ninth-term/first-year junior high school student)
I took the Kumon test and it was about mathematics, which is my favorite subject. I am looking forward to what kind of results I will get. We get to start the Kumon programmes. I hope to work on it hard and go up to the higher levels as fast as I can.
HOKAZONO Ryuichi (Ninth-term/first-year junior high school student)
I was a little worried that what kind of questions we would be given, but they were basic ones, such as calculations. I was happy that I could get done with multiplications and divisions in time. I think that studying actually helps our performance in football, so I would like to work on it hard every day.
