Prince Takamado Trophy Under-18 Football League, Premier League West, Week 3 preview

The Prince Takamado Trophy Under-18 Football League Premier League West will enter the third week on the 26th and 27th April.

Toyama Daiichi High School (Toyama) will host Higashiyama High School (Kyoto). Toyama Daiichi got off to the season with consecutive loesses, but there were some positive elements like Nishimura Takuma scored goals in those two games. Meanwhile, Higashiyama earned a victory against Kyoto Tachibana High School (Kyoto) in their season opener, but as Kamata Daichi mentioned that the team had to play in their back field for too much time and the way they played wasn't so good, they still have some issues to fix. Both teams for sure want to take this game to gain some momentum for the following games they will play afterwards.

Sanfrecce Hiroshima F.C. Youth (Hiroshima) had made drastic roster changes from last year. ''It's not easy, but we just have to keep our composure and do what we are supposed to do,'' Hiroshima's Ito Katsuhisa says. The players will try to post a victory, playing their pass-oriented football that their coach Mochizuki Kazuyori wants to install, against Kyoto Tachibana this weekend.
Kyoto Tachibana, who has missed centerback Hayashi Hiroki, have yet to win a game. But on the bright side, it has been a positive news for them that their first-year players, such as Iwasaki Yuto, have come through. They hope to earn three points with those fresh man power.

Nagoya Grampus Under-18 vs. Vissel Kobe Under-18

Two clubs that were off to 2-0 starts will take on against each other. Nagoya Grampus Under-18's (Aichi) offense has worked effectively, taking advantage of each player's traits, and scored six goals in the previous two games. Their defense, which was the league's second worst last year, have successfully allowed just one goal.
Vissel Kobe Under-18 (Hyogo) have missed some offensive core players like Fujimoto Yugo and Najima Akito, but they have not been affected by that. ''We haven't changed our style of football and if we play as we usually play, we don't have any problems,'' Forward Yonezawa Rei says. To be true to his words, Vissel has racked up seven goals in their two contests since the season opener. Defensively, the reigninig champions have been successful giving up just one goal. ''We would like to focus on one game at a time and come up with positive results,'' Yonezawa adds. Kobe definitely looks to collect another three points this weekend. It will be interesting to see which of the two unbeaten sides will extend their winning streak.
