JFA Academy serves as regional bases

The JFA Academy has the function as football centres of regional football associations as a part of the measures to realize ''2005 JFA Declaration,'' and serves as the base for the coach developments, training centre activities, kids activities and spread of the sport.
We would like to introduce the Miyazaki Prefecture Under-12 training camp, the training centre of the Uki model district of Uki City, and Kumamoto Prefecture goalkeepers clinic this time.

Miyazaki Prefecture Under-12 Training Camp

NAKAUMA Kazutaka, the 4th technical director of Miyazaki Prefecture
As we now have facilities like this nearby, I've got to think that it is quite significant for the players and coaches to feel the guidance of the coaches of the national training centre and to have an access to train there. In the training, there were detailed coaching on plays we often overlook, and the participating coaches returned to their prefecture with what we learnt there. Hopefully, we will hold two-a-year training camps for the Under-11 and Under-12 players so the game of Miyazaki Prefecture will develop.

Uki model district training centre

SAITO Tatsuya, Chief of the Uki model district training centre
I go to the Ki model district training centre for three times a month, 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday nights. At the same time, I train four different categories, from the Under-11 to the Under-14 players. We have to have supports from the staff of the JFA Academy Kumamoto Uki. While we try to develop the players as coaches, we exchange discussions between us every time, so the place is actually where the regional coaches assemble to study.

Kumamoto Prefecture goalkeepers clinic

SUMIYA Takashi, Goalkeepers coach, JFA Academy Kumamoto Uki
The Kumamoto Prefectural Football Association holds their goalkeepers clinics at Kumamoto Prefectural General Sports Park and Uki Fureai Sports Centre (Academy Kumamoto Uki). The participants can play on the artificial turfs with the lights for night games at both sites. The participants are ranging from fourth graders to high school students and we have the environments for the players to be able to mutually enhance with each other. I've joined it because I wanted to contribute as much as possible to the great activities by the Kumamoto Prefectural Football Association and other staff of the region.
