JFA Kirin Family Futsal Festival is the family event anybody can participate, giving you a chance to enjoy kicking a ball with family. This event is organized by JFA and prefecture football association where this event is held, there will be 10 events of this kind scheduled in this fiscal year. Anyone can take part in this event as long as you can create a team of five persons including elementary school students and female. You can entry the team consisting of more than two families.
322 families participated in the event held at Nissan stadium, Kanagawa prefecture on Sat. 21 June. Elementary school student who regularly and eagerly playing football and father who is lacks regular exercise looked hard to compete with his kids. A girl who is dreaming to be Nadeshiko Japan and a mother who had no experience of playing football. Even these families can get together and enjoy playing football and futsal, the advice of enjoy playing them were given at “Kirin Futsal Class” by Instructor Aine Sumi, ex-Japan national futsal team player.
The awards were given to the families played throughout the day. “Family award” was given to the family played friendly together. “Futsal Award” to the family played seriously for result, “Festival Award” for the family played enjoyably. Kirin Group, special sponsor of the event, gave “Ichiban Shibori” award for the team with father playing aggressively, “Kirin Loves Sports award” to the family with the kid playing actively, “Gogono Koucha” award to the team with mother playing aggressively.

Eligibility for Participation: Teams should be made with one family or multiple families. 5 players on a pitch should always include one male over 20 years old, one female, and two players younger than 15 years old.
Registration for JFA: Team registration is not required. You need to register for “Enjoy Futsal” by the day you participate in the event.
