U-16 Japan National team training camp for AFC U-16 Championship - report (30 Aug)

31 August 2014

U-16 Japan National team training camp for AFC U-16 Championship - report (30 Aug)

When the team left their hotel, there was light rain falling. But by the time they finished up the practice it wasn’t seen any longer. Physical workouts and simulated matches were conducted without any disturbance.
They will finally wrap up the week-long camp in Chonburi on 31st August.

Players Comments

SUGA Daiki(Consadore Sapporo U-18)
Today’s practice was centred on physical workouts. We all focused, pushed ourselves and finished up all the drills, but if we carry that fatigue onto the drills involving the ball and lose the ball control or make bad judgments, the workout becomes meaningless. As a team, we couldn’t get ourselves ready for the practice and matches, we have to get better on that.

ONOZAWA Toshiki(Cerezo Osaka U-18)
We pushed ourselves very hard in the physical workout in the morning. I became quiet and passive when I got tired, so I will keep telling myself to be more active. When we do practice using the ball, we have to pay more attention to our opposition. The AFC Championship is coming up, so we as a team have to raise our concentration level and be ready for the first match against Hong Kong with our best shape possible.
