World Championships of blind football will be held in Japan from Sunday 16 November

Blind football is developed for blind people to play football and 5 players, rather than 11 make up a team. It is said that we get 80% of sensory information is from what we can see. However, you will be surprised to watch playing skills of blind football players.

This Championship will be held at Yoyogi National Stadium Futsal courts, the first time this event is held in Asia, and 12 countries which qualified from preliminary round in each continent such as Brazil, France, Spain, China, and Japan will play passionately throughout 9 days of the competition.

All of Japan’s matches in the first group league are planned to start from 7:30 pm except on Sunday; let’s go to the venue after work or school and cheer on the Japanese National Blind Football Players. Volunteers are also welcome; please apply for this great opportunity which allows you to interact with people from all over the world.
