Kashiwa Reysol to face Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, at home on 22 April - ACL group stage MD 5

The group stage in the AFC Champions League 2015 has reached matchday 5 of the group stage. Kashiwa Reysol will play at home against Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors from Korea, the last year’s K League Classic champion. A press conference was held the day before the match.

Kashiwa Reysol

YOSHIDA Tatsuma, Head Coach
Tomorrow we have an important match which is the second to last match of this group stage. It will be a home game for us, but it will be the challenging match considering Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors’s great achievements in the past. I expect it will be a difficult and intense match for us. We want to proceed to the next stage by playing well, that doesn’t mean that we just had a “good challenge” in the match tomorrow. We are ready for that. We will show positive things in both mentality and playing skill tomorrow.

OTANI Hidekazu, #7  Midfielder
I know that Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors is a very consistent team from our previous match experience and why they can keep winning in the K League Classic. It doesn’t matter if we have 2 more matches of this group stage; we want to move onto the next stage in front of our fans at our home ground Hitachidai. We couldn’t have many days between previous matches, but this time we have 5 days between this match and our last and that has helped us to prepare well. I expect that it will be a good match for us tomorrow.

Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors

Choi Kang Hee, Head Coach
Our team mood has been very positive. We know how Kashiwa Reysol plays since we have played against them at home before. So this is the match we have to win. We all have such a strong will to move on to this group stage as a top team, I believe that we will make a good result tomorrow.

Lee Dong Gook, #20  Forward
Our condition is good and we can go to the match tomorrow in a good mood. However, I also expect that it will be a difficult one since it will be an away match. We just want to show what we have prepared and our best performance. If we can play as our Head Coach directs, I think we can get the 3 points from winning the game.
