AFC announce outlines for Grassroots Football Day Memorial Festival
08 May 2015
The 15th of May is the Grassroots Football Day that the Asian Football Confederation set in 2013. It was also the day that the J. League was inaugurated in 1993, while it was the day that the JFA made their grassroots declaration last year as well.
Along with the participating members including Japan, the AFC will celebrate the Grassroots Day in the entire Asian, while they plan to hold memorial festivals around the region so those will lead to develop the grassroots football. In Japan, among various different regional-oriented festivals that the prefectural football associations hold across the nation, the grassroots festivals will be hosted in the three venues that are listed below. Please ask each host prefectural football associations regarding your participations in the festivals.
