JFA signs renewed partnership MOU with the Real Federación Española de Fútbol

Japan Football Association (JFA) has signed a renewed partnership MOU with Real Federación Española de Fútbol (RFEF) on 22 September in Madrid, Spain. The first agreement between both football governing bodies was signed in January 2010.
The new MOU covers additional area of cooperation such as exchange of information on grassroots to national teams and interaction on administration, to strengthen the mutual relationship and to cooperate together for a further development of football in both Spain and Japan.
“I am very honored by this meaningful moment of re-signing the partnership with RFEF,” commented DAINI Kuniya, President of Japan Football Association.
“We have fully examined within JFA in order to expand the areas of cooperation and I believe this new partnership will mean a lot to the football family in Japan. It is my sincere hope that this new agreement would lead us to a greater height.”
The MOU between RFEF and JFA aims to cooperate with each other in the areas as follows:
・Technical Assistance and Coach Education (football, futsal and beach soccer)
・Talent Promotion
・National Teams
・Refereeing (football, futsal, beach soccer)
・Administration and Legal Matters
Until now JFA has signed MOU with football associations and federations such as Germany, France, Spain, Singapore, Tajikistan, UAE, Jordan, Vietnam, Iran, India and Mongolia.
