The 96th Emperor's Cup All Japan Football Championship: 6 participating teams decided

The finals of six prefectures, including Chiba, were held on 20 August and the six participating teams in the 96th Emperor's Cup All Japan Football Championship were decided. The following tournament will begin on 27 August.
Tomorrow will see all the remaining finals of 27 regional tournaments and all the 88 teams entering the Emperor’s Cup will be determined.

Chiba Prefecture: 21st Chiba Football Championship Final
Saturday 20 August, Kick-off at 17:00 at Fukuda Denshi Arena
Briobecca Urayasu 0-2 Vonds Ichihara FC
*Vonds Ichihara FC is making their first-time appearance in the Emperor Cup.
*Vonds Ichihara FC will take on Tokyo Verdy in their first match of the tournament at Ajinomoto Stadium on August 27.
Kanagawa Prefecture: 21st Kanagawa Football Championship Final
Saturday 20 August, Kick-off at 15:30 at Nippatsu Mitsuzawa Studium
Yokohama Takeru 1-3 Kanagawa University
*Kanagawa University is making their 3rd appearance in the Emperor Cup since 2006.
*Kanagawa University will take on FC Machida Zelvia in their first match of the tournament at Machida Stadium on August 27.
Aichi Prefecture: 21st Aichi Football Championship Final
Saturday 20 August, Kick-off at 14:00 at Minato Soccer Field
FC Maruyasu Okazaki 1-4 Tokaigakuen University
*Tokaigakuen University is making their first-time appearance in the Emperor Cup.
*Tokaigakuen University will take on Suzuka Unlimited FC in their first match of the tournament at Minato Soccer Field on August 27.
Mie Prefecture: 21st Mie Football Championship Final
Saturday 20 August, Kick-off at 14:00 at Mie Kotsu Group Suzuka Sports Garden Football Field
Veertien Mie 1-3 Suzaka Unlimited FC
*Suzaka Unlimited FC is making their 3rd appearance in the Emperor Cup since 2012.
*Suzaka Unlimited FC will take on Tokaigakuen University in their first match of the tournament at Minato Soccer Field on August 27.
Kyoto Prefecture: Kyoto FA Cup2016 21st Kanagawa Football Championship Final
Saturday 20 August, Kick-off at 17:30 at Nishikyogoku Stadium
Ritsumeikan University 2-2 Kyoto Sangyo University

Yamaguchi Prefecture: 21st Yamaguchi Football Championship Final
Saturday 20 August, Kick-off at 11:00 at Ishin Memorial Park Stadium

*Tokuyama University is making their 8th appearance in the Emperor Cup since 2014.
*Tokuyama University will take on Matsumoto Yamaga F.C. in their first match of the tournament at Matsumotodaira Park Stadium Alwin on August 28.
