In efforts to support the development of football in Asia, the Japan Football Association (JFA) has been dispatching instructors to many regions of Asia. Most recently, Mr. HANITA Atsushi has been dispatched to Brunei Darussalam. He will be coaching young players of Brunei Darussalam as the Youth Development Coach.

Instructor’s Comment

HANITA Atsushi, Brunei Darussalam Youth Development Coach
I have been appointed as the Youth Development Coach of Brunei Darussalam. I will mainly be in charge of the categories between U-14 and U-16. With the AFF U-16 Championship and AFC U-16 Championship scheduled to take place this year, the team has already started their training. I will do my best to build on the positive impression of the Japanese instructors left by my predecessor, Mr. FUJIWARA Takao. Together with the staffs of the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD), Technical Director John WHITTLE, Youth Director STEPHEN, I will give my best efforts to contribute to the development of the youth players of Brunei Darussalam that will carry their football talents to new heights.
