FIFA International Referee HATANO Yuichi appointed to officiate in the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Russia 2021™

FIFA has announced the match officials for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Russia 2021™, which will take place between Thursday 19 to Sunday 29 August. From Japan, FIFA international referee HATANO Yuichi was appointed.

I am very honoured to be appointed as the tournament match official for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Russia 2021™. While the world is still under the influence of the corona-pandemic, we are thankful to all the people who are making this tournament possible, especially the medical and essential workers who are fighting the pandemic on the front line. I will give my utmost effort to prepare myself for this tournament. As the representative of the Japanese referees, I will officiate matches with pride and try to fulfil my duty as a referee with a sense of gratitude towards my referee mates, instructors, players, teams, fellow co-workers, and my family for their support and understanding.
