Mark Sean Jones, U-15 Singapore National Team Head Coach
We had never faced teams at that level, so the games were very challenging for us, but were also very good experience. I think we must continue to try to raise our level of play to be competitive on the international level. As for the accommodation, we were very happy with the delicious meal and the well maintained pitch. We carried out this camp in a pleasant environment thanks to the kind staff members. Being warm welcomed by many, we had a wonderful training camp.
Selvaraj s/o Vengadasalam, U-16 Singapore National Team Head Coach
The three matches were difficult. That were very challenging experience and were also opportunities to find possible ways to overcome our weaknesses. Winning these matches have boosted our confidence. Players had a beneficial time in this camp. If we come to Japan again in the future, we would like to be more mature mentally and physically by then. I would like to express my gratitude to the people including the Liaison staff for this meaningful camp.
Nurshafiq bin Zaini, U-15 Singapore National Team Player
This is my second visit to Japan, so I enjoyed everyday. Japanese players are relatively small in physical size, but they are skillful and physically strong. That's why I learned a lot in the matches. I'm honoured to meet many Japanese people in this camp.
Royston Tan Jia Jie, U-16 Singapore National Team Player
Japanese players have a good technique and physical strength. Match officials' performance was also excellent and the pitch was well maintained. In this camp, I had a meaningful time, enjoying the valuable experience which I never have in Singapore.
