Coach and Players’ Comments
Karl Dodd, Coach
The Japanese team we faced during our training camp was a very good team. We hope to utilise this experience at the first preliminary round of the EAFF E-1 Football Championship 2019 and earn a good result.
Sean Evans
The J-GREEN Sakai was a wonderful facility and they welcomed us with warm hospitality. The meals served there were delicious, and the pitch conditions were great, which allowed us to conduct a very productive training camp. I was very impressed by the level of football displayed by the Japanese university team and it gave us a great learning experience. The time spent in Japan has boosted our motivation ahead of the tournament in Mongolia.
Dominic Gadia
Every time I come here, it makes me realise what a wonderful country Japan is. We are grateful to be given this environment that allows us to focus on our trainings. Although it was disappointing to lose in the training match, it gave us a great learning experience to find out what we need to work on. Our activities off the pitch, such as our visit to Shinsaibashi has given us a great memory.
