JFA Kokoro Project starts “Dream Class” online
25 September 2020
Starting on Thursday 1 October, the JFA Kokoro Project has started an online course of the “Dream Class” to connect JFA with primary and junior high schools across the nation.
Prioritising the safety of the participating children, parents, and school staffs, the “Dream Class,” which had been held directly at primary and junior high schools, were postponed or cancelled due to the spread of COVID-19. In order to deliver a class that conveys “the wonderfulness of having a dream” to as many children as possible, it was decided that the class will resume online.
Just as the “Teachers of dreams” have always told the children, “It is easy to give up or quit, but let’s try not to give up and keep on trying,” the JFA Kokoro Project will continue to convey the “importance of having a dream and making the efforts to make that dream come true,” through a new format.
* The online version of the “Dream Class” will be held until end of March 2021. Regular “Dream Class” will be held after that period.

Former and current athletes from various sports are dispatched to schools as the “Teacher of dreams" to give lectures on the importance of having a dream and making the efforts to make that dream come true. By playing games and sharing personal experiences, the “Teacher of dreams" also teach the importance to help out friends and peers.
