Coach and Players' Comments
Kimberly SHERMAN, Head Coach of U-17 Guam Women's National Team
We would like to express our gratitude to Japan Football Association (JFA) and the Guam Football Association for allowing us to hold this training camp. It was a great experience for the players and staff to be exposed to teams at a higher level and their training environment in a world-class football facility such as J-GREEN Sakai. The players have learned a lot and are inspired to improve their skills in order to be selected for the final squad in April.

We gained a great experience at this training camp. We were able to observe and learn various playing styles by competing against Japanese teams. We had a truly wonderful time thanks to the warm hospitality of the Japanese people. J-GREEN Sakai was a dreamlike facility. There are plenty of training grounds, allowing players of different categories to play. It was a wonderful experience to hold a training camp at this facility. Finally, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to JFA for arranging and coordinating all aspects of this camp.
Cadence GUZMAN
This training camp has been really great. Playing against Japanese teams allowed us to experience different playing styles and tactics. We were treated with excellent hospitality by all parties involved. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. Lastly, J-GREEN Sakai was undoubtedly a facility of our dreams. There are both artificial and natural grass fields, which made me wish I could play here longer. Here, we could really see how much impact football has on people's lives.
