Before participating in this “Sakai 2days March”, I made two objectives. One was to know good things about Sakai. It was a good chance for me because I am originally from Aichi prefecture and did not really know about Sakai. Second was to create a good bond with local people. Today I was able to accomplish these two objectives. By knowing the history, now I know more about the positive things of Sakai and it was a lovely time for me to spend with many local participants talking along the walk programme. Today, once again, I felt that I can improve myself because of the warm support of the local people. I will do my best keeping this in my mind.

NAKAMURA Asuha, CALDIO Football Club, second-year junior high school student
Today in this walking event, I could talk to many female participants. To be honest, I am not good at talking with somebody whom I haven’t talked to before, but I was very happy to talk with them because they welcomed me warmly. It is always good to know that there are local people who support us. I keep working hard with a sense of pride as a player of the Academy.

MAKI Haruka, FC Vitoria, second-year junior high school student
I have two things I would like to share from walking in Sakai today. First one is there is a rich history in Sakai as I could see many tombs today. Second one is there is lots of green in Sakai. Knowing these two things made me change my image of Sakai; it is not just a place with many factories but there are rich nature and history here. People in this event were kind and they spoke to us expressing their supports for us. I just want to try many things to respond well to the local peoples’ support.
