JFA Academy Sakai players join Sakai Festival
22 October 2014
The 12 third-term students (junior high freshmen) of the JFA Academy Sakai participated in the Sakai Festival Big Parade in Sakai, Osaka Prefecture on Sunday.
They marched with hand-made banners with each member’s own determination and JFA Academy’s five doctrines, so they would be able to tell more people about the JFA Academy Sakai. They also received a lot of cheer and applauses and that made them realize their appreciation, responsibility and pride acting in the city of Sakai.

I was walking holding the biggest banner up front. I heard some people would say ``Do your best!’’ and it made me feel that they give us so much support. And I thought that we are able to do what we are doing because of these people supporting us. As the banner I was holding stated, I would always like to think of ``what we can do to achieve our dreams’’ and pay back eventually.
MASUNAGA Akari(INAC Kobe Leonessa、second form student)
I’d been looking forward to this Sakai festival so much. We walked before so many people and were able to let people know about our JFA Academy Sakai. I was nervous a little bit, but I was so pleased when we received applauses. And I realized that we are really supported by people. I want to take every day importantly, appreciating to be able to live and play football in this excellent environments.
MIKIDO Megumi(FC Vitoria、second form student)
There was something that I felt as we participated in Sakai Festival. That was the kindness of the people who came to it and run it. When we were marching, there were people who were waiving their hands, give us supportive worlds and applauses. I would like to spend my life at the academy, not forgetting my feeling of appreciation for the people who gave us support, the city of Sakai and people that are involved that are giving us such wonderful environments like this.
