Girls GK Camp
It is a project with aims to scout and develop future Nadeshiko Japan's goal-keepers.
Players of around U-15 ( Junior High school students), who are considered the key of Japan Women's football strengthening and development, are selected in terms of "strengthening", "development" and "diffusion", and a continuous training is carried out.Moreover, as well as for training centres, a project of "coaches development" is also carried out, taking advantage of training camp opportunities.
Purpose
1. Strengthening
This projects provides top players to U-17, U-20 Japan Women's National Team and supports their activities by training top Goal-keepers continuously and appropriately, in accordance with their level.
2. Development
During training centre and during various tournament, players with high technical and physical abilities ( including potential power, future prospects, personality) are selected and a continuous and appropriate training in accordance with the players' level is carried out. By training with mates, rivals with the same goals, the player realize her own strengths and weaknesses and a further improvement of level may be achieved.
3. Diffusion=Scouting
As talented players that may support future Japan Women's national team, tall players and players with high physical abilities are chosen from the public, regardless of their experiences in football. Beginners are also intensively trained, so that they will be able to play as goal-keepers.
4. Coaches Development
Not only JFA National Coaching staff ( goal-keeper coaches of men / women's national team of each age) and JFA National training centre's coaches, but also women goal-keeper coaches and goal-keeper coaches of women's team are involved in the training, in order to achieve an improvement of coaches' level and the sharing of GK training's concept.
