The Japan Football Association (JFA) will be setting up a special booth to support the Japanese Bid to host the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 at Saitama Stadium 2002, Saitama, on Thursday 10 October, when the SAMURAI BLUE (Japan National Team) face the Mongolia National Team at the second round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar and AFC Asian Cup China PR 2023 Preliminary Joint Qualification.

The booth will be setup to familiarise the visitors about the Japanese Bid to host the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023. At the booth, World Cup trophies won by the Nadeshiko Japan, the U-20 Japan Women’s National Team, and the U-17 Japan Women’s National Team will be on display, along with pictures from the recent FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019. As part of the event, we will be collecting messages from the visitors of the booth on the theme, “2023 My Dream.”

By hosting the Women's World Cup 2023 in Japan, the JFA seeks to give new hope to the future members of the Nadeshiko Japan and enhance the environment surrounding women’s football in Japan. Through the World Cup, the JFA dreams of providing a unique and thrilling experience to all people, beyond the differences in sports, race, gender, and sexuality.
